Lakehurst (Zone 53)

Be advised when Hunting white-tailed deer on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, the base is split into two (2) zones for the state.

Refer to the NJ Hunting Guide for specifics.

iSportsman online Sign in/out for deer hunting is 1.5 hours before sunrise and 1.5 hours past sunset. Legal hunting hours still apply.

You are required to report a harvested deer in two places:

1. iSportsman: Report your harvest during the check-out process

2. The State of NJ. To report your deer, call (855) I HUNT NJ or (855) 448-6865 or https://www.njfishandwildlife.org/ahrs.htm

(Zone 53) Lakehurst section ONLY of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, that formerly consisted of Lakehurst Naval Air Engineering Station (Zone 53)

The Lakehurst section (Zone 53) is open ONLY to those with authorization to access the base. Hunters wishing to hunt Zone 53 must have approval from the administrative authority.
